Friends.

My bachelorette party, in Ocean City, was a year ago and thinking about it made me miss my DC girls dearly. So I wanted to post something to let them know that I miss them and think of all of our fun times often! :)

My friend Kristy Witmer (formerly Jarvis) took pictures of Kaitlin in her Christening gown the weekend before her Christening. Kristy is very talented and I am in love with the pictures. Rolling!

I put Kaitlin on her tummy on Saturday and she started doing rolls! She has never done this before, so of course I was excited to be there for this milestone! It is so hard working so much and being so busy. I miss her terribly and feel so much guilt. This past week it really got to me for some reason, but I am just trying to be thankful for the good care that she does have and take advantage of the quality time I do get to spend with her.

FestivALL.

Every summer Charleston has FestivALL. It is 2 weeks full of different events. The best is Blues, Brews, and BBQ and Wine and Jazz which were both this past weekend. Friday night we enjoyed a child free night with friends. We weren't planning on going to Wine and Jazz, but decided to at the last minute and so we took Kaitlin. It was so hot, but after the sun went down it was "tolerable."

Brooks Aaron Arnold turned one last week. It is so hard to believe he is already a year old!!! He has changed so much in a year and is just the sweetest little boy. He has bright blue eyes and he sure does love his mommy! I am loving the fact that Court and I live close and we get to see each other a lot now!

Pool days.

It has been so hot this summer the only thing you can do is go to the pool! Usually we just go to my parent's house, but last weekend we found a pool in Charleston. Kaitlin likes the water. I can't wait until she is old enough to learn to swim! :)

Summer.

This summer is already flying by. Unfortunately, I am so busy I hardly have any time to enjoy it. But I am trying to spend as much quality time with Kaitlin and BJ as possible. Its been a summer full of birthday parties, a graduation party, and a going away party.

Kaitlin-3 month update.

Kaitlin is doing great!!! She turned 3 months old on June 14. I can't believe she has been in this world for 3 months already, but now that she is here I cannot even imagine my life without her! She is wrapping both of us around her little finger already. She is beautiful and just the happiest baby! She is very active and strong. She will be ready to start crawling before we know it. She loves movement and is intriqued by anything that moves. She also loves to watch TV, so I'm going to have to get some baby DVDs. She has brought so much happiness to not only BJ and I but to her grandparents as well. Everyday she is doing something new and its so fun to watch her grow!
