1 year.

This post is over a month late...what can I say, I'm really too busy to update this very often. Also, our anniversary fell right in the middle of an EXTREMELY busy time in our life. Anyway, I have to say thank you to my loving husband for sticking by me and helping me get through this past year. I said last year was the hardest year of our lives, but this year definitely surpassed it. There is nothing like doing everything at once. We got married, started new careers, moved a couple of times, studied for the bar exam, and had our first baby all in one year. However, as hard as it has been, it has also been the most rewarding and best year of my life. I get to come home to the most beautiful child, who is truly a miracle and gift from God. And I have husband that not only is a great father, but also takes good care of me. Life is certainly full of challenges, but as I've learned the most unexpected things can turn into the most wonderful gifts. Although this next year will hopefuly be a little calmer--we are still expecting big changes for the future. :) Here are some pics from our anniversary and some fun ones from the wedding last year. Its hard to believe its been a year!!! What an amazing day it was!

Gorgeous location!!

BJ's mom surprised us at the beach with this cake!

33 weeks and counting....

My anxiety over the baby and the upcoming bar exam is on overload...I will not miss the emotional aspect of being pregnant thats for sure! So, I took a much needed night off Saturday and BJ took me out to dinner. It was nice to get my mind off things for a little while. BJ also spent all weekend working on the baby nursery. It is a work in progress (if you know what we started with then you understand). But, it is turning out beautiful! My hubby is great!!!

Reflecting on 2009

Happy 2010!
We ended 2009 with a trip to the ER followed by 2 days in the hospital (BJ not me). Its a long story, but he is ok and feeling fine. Therefore we took it very easy for New Years. He had to wake me up to watch the ball drop. But, it was so nice to have a 3 day weekend! :)

We are definitely ready and excited for the new year! We experienced highs and lows in 2009. Although it was a hard year coupled with A LOT of change, we will never forget our wedding day, which was the best day of our lives up to this point. And as hard as things have been, it has all been worth it. We have learned a lot, grown up A LOT, and are happier than ever.

2010 will be a great year! The next 2 months are going to be insane as I spend the little free time I have studying! Studying for the bar exam is not going to be easy during my last trimester...but I am going to push through! I am going to try and cut back my work hours some (leave at 5 rather 7), so this should help.

28 WEEKS!!

We can't wait to meet our baby girl. She occupies about 95% of my thoughts. It is so exciting and scary at the same time. But we are getting ready and really looking forward to spring 2010! :)

Kaitlin's little closet is already getting full!! She is already so loved by our family and friends. And I have to say that baby clothes are too precious to resist. I want to buy everything I see...but am trying to control myself! We picked out furniture for the nursery this weekend and baby bedding. It is getting so close and there is so much to do!!

A Few Wedding Favorites

First Dance--those dance lessons paid off!

Country Roads! Our band was awesome!

Our wedding was amazing. It was a fairy tale and I could not imagine a more perfect day or weekend. Our photographer was unbelievable. The best part is that everyone seems to be having a great time in all of the pictures. These are just a few of my favorites.
